4. Supremacy of Military – Armed Forces given disproportionate funding while domestic necessities are ignored. Soldiers are worshipped and military service glamorized.
5. Control Of Mass Media – National media controlled by corporations and/or the government for censorship and suppression of truth, the first two casualties in war.
7. Obsession with National Security – Fear and terror over masses resulting in more power given to the government.
8. Union Of Church & State – Government use of the nation's most common religion to manipulate public opinion. Religious oratory and preaching utilized to stir the masses.
9. Protection Of Corporate Power – Corporate & commercial classes placing leaders in positions of power to circumvent elections and create mutually beneficial business-government alliances.
10. Labor Suppression – Labor unions severely suppressed or entirely eliminated.
11. Obsession With Crime & Punishment – Police given almost unlimited power to enforce laws. Citizens willing to overlook police abuses while surrendering civil liberties in the name
of patriotism.

Rampant Cronyism – Rule by friends and associates who appoint each other to high positions of power to protect each other from criminal accountability (e.g., the looting of the national Treasury and other government resources [such as the missing $2.3 trillion from the Pentagon the day before 9/11], and the pardoning of criminals by Presidents and Heads of State).
13. Rigged Elections – Elections manipulated by laws passed to suppress minority voters, while campaigns are engineered to smear the opposition (often minorities). Political districts frequently gerrymandered and Judges bribed to manipulate the ballot.
