Americans who demand the Confederate Flag be taken down because of slavery, must also take down the Stars & Stripes for the same reason. Slavery initially existed in the North (and some of the slaves were white), which was later exported to the South where the North could deny complicity from a distance and profit from it. Some of the Northern States eventually freed their slaves, but prohibited them from living in the North. Northerners also controlled all the slave ships which were Jewish owned.

The last US President to own slaves was Ulysses S. Grant, the Commanding General of the Northern Forces. Grant owned one slave, which he freed in 1859. His pro-slavery wife, Julia, owned numerous slaves, which she refused to release until 1865, two years after the Emancipation Proclamation (1863). General Robert E. Lee, Commanding General of the Southern Forces, freed his slaves one year before the Emancipation Proclamation in 1862.

The Civil War was not fought over slavery alone, but European meddling in the South and the creation of a Central Bank and massive war debt. The bankers planned to erect their Central Bank after the war, print money out of thin air and loan to the government at interest to pay off the war debt. The European Rothschild banking family financed both sides during the war.
