Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson’s views on homosexuality and the Bible have been falsely denounced as hate speech by the media that homosexuality is a capital crime. (Homosexuality was, of course, a capital crime under the Old Covenant, but not the New Covenant).

This mistaken view, pushed by rich homosexual elites who care nothing about their houseboys, is as wrongheaded as it is dangerous. While it is true the Old Testament condemned homosexuality by stoning (Lev. 20:13), homosexuals were never to be put to death under the New Testament. Jesus died for homosexuals and they can be forgiven and saved. Though homosexuality is an abominable sin; e.g., I Cor. 6:9-11 & Romans 1:26-32 (and those who support it are condemned also; Rom. 1:32), homosexuals who obey the Gospel and turn from this sin are forgiven (Rom. 1:16). The notion that the Bible as a whole incites violence against homosexuals is a gross misrepresentation of the facts; New Covenant Christians are not under the Old Testament (Romans 6:14). If this dangerous, erroneous view persists (as the homosexual elite hopes it will) it will lead to untold damage in our nation and the world. Understanding the difference between Old Testament Law and New Testament Grace is crucial and paramount regarding this matter.
